LucasArt's Dark Forces

This walkthrough gives you a clear idea as to how to pass each level, including solving the puzzles inside, enemies in each one, and which weapons can be found in that level (Fists and Blaster Pistol you have always). Beware however, that Imperial Troops and other dangers could be anywhere are not all are mentioned in this walkthrough, so instead of following this walkthrough closely, be on the watch for them.

* = Enemy cannot ne destroyed or part of the enviroment

STORY: Shortly after the destruction of the Death Star, the Empire has begun construction on a new secret weapon: The Dark Trooper. An army of these droids could destroy a planet if necessary. As Kyle Katarn, a rebel mercenary, you and your friend, Jan Ors, must go through several missions in collecting information about the weapon, destroying Imperial bases, and a series of other main conflicts which stand in their way of defeating the Empire's new plan.

Prologue Mission 1: Operation Skyhook; Phase II

Weapons: Stormtrooper Laser Rifle

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops (Cake!)

When you start out in this level, you'll be dropped down into the shaft, into the base. You need to A) Find the Death Star Plans, and B) Get back to your ship. To start, you need the red key. Go through that door way in front of you (use the console next to it to open it), and go outside. To your left and right are grey doors in the walls. Go through one, and use the elevator to go up to a higher level. Kill the Cadet in there and take the red key. Now find your way back to where you began. There's a door there that requires a red key. Go through it, onto the elevator, and locate the switch. Throw the switch and drop down to the lower level, where the wall is opening up. Go through and head down the stairs. At the bottom, you'll find the control room. There's a large switch on the wall (similar to the one you used before), that will open another wall. Behind it is the Death Star Disk. Take it and go out the other door. Open the sliding doors and use the elevator to ride to the roof, and await the arrival of your ship. (HINT FOR EXTRA LIFE: Up on the roof, search for a path into the walls, where you'll find a grate. Open it and hop into the shaft for an extra life.)

Mission 2: Talay Tak Base: "After the Massacre"

Weapons: Nothing you already have.

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops

In this level, three things are required. A) Turning on the Hydro-electric dam, B) Finding a broken piece of the Dark Trooper, and C) Returning to your ship. When you start out, go into the dark passage into the wall, and head up the stair. At the top, search for some type of bridge-like structure that will take you to an over pass. Hop down and go over the bridge leading over the river (IN CASE YOU FALL IN RIVER: Go against the current to the tiny waterfall, and use the stairwell to climb out.) On the other side of the bridge, turn right, and look around for an entrance into a dark room (Turning on infrared is suggested). Find the exit and go across the path to the strange structure. Walk across the narrow fins and turn on the switch to strat up the dam. The fins will now be moving, so time your exit. You'll also notice the lights and power are back on, so be careful. Search for the open area (the place with a large stairwell), and look at the single door on the huge wall. Open it and turn on the switch inside. Leave, and find an orange building with the lights on. Go through it and across the bridge, into the thing in the middle. Turn on the switch inside and wait for the bridge to completely turn around. After the other door opens, leave and keep going forward until you arrive at a huge complex. Go inside and (Stormtrooper alert!) go up the stairs in the back, along the path, and into the first door. Inside is a used Dark trooper weapon. Take it, jump out the window, and go into the river. Follow the river through the sewers until you reach an opening in the walls. Go up and out of the sewers, back through the movable bridge (you know the drill) and head back to the other bridge crossing over the river. Go over, and through the orange door. (EXTRA LIFE: Go through the first door in this next room. Inside is an extra life) Go through the second door and up the stairs. You'll be back at where you jumped off the ledge. Start heading back the way you came until you rearrive at the landing pad.

Mission 3: Anoat City: "The Subterranean Hideout"

Weapons: Thermal Detonators

Enemies: Probe Droids; Interrogation Droids; Remotes; Dianogas; and Grans

This level requires one objective: Find Moff Rebus. When you begin at your ship, hop up onto the ledge ahead of you and head forward, then turn left, down the stairs. Open the door and go forward to the lever. Pull it once and turn to your left. Hop into the sewer and search for an open passage in the sewage, then go inside (Watch out for those eye-guys.) Follow along the path until you see an opening in the wall ahead. Hop up and go onto the elevator, into the room. Find the switch to start up the waterfall. Leave and go into the sewage area again (Sorry, you have no choice.) Head down the waterfalls then search around in the dark for an exit (Trying walking along the right passages). Go into the door, up the stairs and out to you ship again. Head back to where there's the doors switch, and use it to open the third door. Go inside and keep moving until you see the opening in the wall. Jump in, go up the elevator, and throw the switch in here to lower the sewage level and reveal a door. Go out and go into the door. Head up the stairs, through the other door, and throw the switch. Another water level will rise elsewhere. Leave and head out the sewers, opposite the way you came. Head towards the illuminated door ahead and open it. Go through another one and turn on the switch inside. The platform will rise and send you into a wild water(sewage?)slide! Navigate your way to the end (Not that dangerous, really), and you end up outside again, where the doors switch is. Use it to open the second door, then go in. Keep going until you can jump into an open room in the wall, and use the switch to raise the water level outside the room. This should finally enable you to enter Moff Rebus' lair. Go in and follow the route, through a door or two, until you're dropped into a sewage area with high pillars. Hop onto the platform by the first pillar and turn on the controls to raise the platform. Hop onto the top of the pillar from the platform, and hop from pillar to pillar, onto the ledge on the right ahead. Follow the ledge until some guy is throwing thermal detonators at you, kill him, then perform a great leap from the ledge to the opposite side (Use the RUN move to gain jumping distance). nce on the other side, go through the few doors, along the right side of a wall, and up a narrow stairway that is hard to see until you get close. Go up and turn to your right, head towards the guy in the chair and you've found Moff Rebus.

Mission 4: The Planet Fest; Imperial Weapons Research Facility

Weapons: Imperial Repeater

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Turrets; Toxic Waste*; Gravity*

There are two objectives to this level: Find a sample of the metal they're testing, and get back to the landing pad. (DANGER: Don't fall off any high ledges!!!) When you start, head left and follow the one passage, across the narrow bridge (Don't lose your footing!) And keep going, and going, down some stairs, until you hear someone shooting at you from behind. Turn and get the Stormtrooper, and you'll notice he's on an opposite ledge. Run and jump across, then head up the narrow spiral stairway and follow through the passage until you drop down next to a ventilation shaft. Hop into it and keep going through until you're stuck and can't go anywhere. Duck, turn on some infrared, and go through the dark tunnel (EXTRA LIFE: Keep going straight through the tunnel: No turns, and you'll end up in a room full of treats and power-ups!) Go through the duct until you can see a Stormtroopers feet ahead. Turn off your goggles and get the guy, then come out. Head up some stairs where a ceiling turret will be shooting at you. When fighting these things, strafe often. You'll notice the door won't open. It has a time-lock. Go backwards through the hall and down some stairs, turn on a control, and run like the wind back to the door before it closes. You be brought up into another level of the complex. Head down into the complex and keep going through, until you cme at a fork in the road. Turn right, and head upwards. Keep going right when you find another door, and head into it. In this room, find the elevator in the wall and head up into another room. Kill everyone there, and search the bodies for ammo and a special key code. Also, turn on some small controls that open some large doors below. Now backtrack your entire walk to there all the way back to a dark hallway, with a single door in it. Go in and find the key coder panels. Switch the symbols on the panel to match the ones on your key code card and a door will open. Now this next part is very tricky. You'll be brought to a spiraling stairway with a few doors in the wall. At the top of the stairs and hallway is a door, and inside is the controls for the bridge for the pillar in the center of the complex. One control in here, lowers and raises the bridge, and the other rotates it to a door level. On the pillar are three switches. You need to turn the bridge towards one door and raise or lower the bridge to line it up with the door you want to enter (You can see it out the window.) Afterwards, go find the door (In the spiral stairway), go along the bridge and turn on the switch. Leave and repeat it twice more with the other doors, until all three switches are thrown. After the third is on, a door will open at the top of the stairs, in the room with the bridge controls. Have the bridge rotate towards it and raise it to it's highest degree. Go through the door, up the stairs and across the bridge to the pillar, where the metal alloy awaits. Take it, and the pillar will start bobbing up and down. Hop back onto the bridge when you get the chance. Go down the stairs and find you way back to the door where you went to find the key code, and turn left instead. Go up the stairs hidden behind the wall and go along the passage, through the open doors, and you'll come to two more. To open them, go down the narrow passage to your right, kill who ever's in the room, and throw the switch to open, and allow you back outside. Now that you're here, find the elevator to raise you back into the mountainous region. Turn left and head along the passages, and keep going until things seem familiar. Use this passage to keep going until you're safely back at the landing pad.

Mission 5: The Grommas Mines: "The Blood Moon"

Weapons: Jeron Fusion Cutter

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Probe Droids; Turrets; Pistons/Drills*; Gravity*; a Pro-Dark Trooper

Mission Objectives: Plant the sequence charge into the outlet and get back to the ship before it explodes. Starting out, just wander around, blasting Stormtroopers, until you finally find the elevator raising you into the mining complex. Head up the stairs, and go through the door, then find you way through here (Don't get close to those drills) and don't worry, there's only one way through here. The only problem you may have is ducking to get through a narrow ledge, and finding an elevator in the wall. Anyway, keep going, until you arrive at a drill shaft, where the drill is going up and down. Leap onto the top on it's descent, and leap into the opening in the wall below on the way down. You're now inside the mines. See those pistons that go up and down into the ground? There are two ways to cross them, one is to jump into the hole when the piston, goes up, then jump out, or the way I prefer, racing across the edges when I get the chance, much safer than going into the frying pan in the first. You'll need to find a key for the door here. If you advance through a few curves in the road and take a right, you be on an overlook of a huge pit. LOok to your right, and you'll see a room in the wall aside from you. Jump in there to get the key. Jump out and go back to the locked door to open it. Continue through the mines until you come to another dead end. Look to your right again and you'll see aledge just within jumping reach! Back up and make a running leap over the pit (watch out for the piston!!!) Continue along the path until you arrive at yet another dead end. Right below you is a ledge but it's narrow so watch you're step when you hop down. You'll notice another opening in the wall that is just within jumping reach, but a huge piston is in the way. You need to jump the gap when the piston moves up and out of the way. Now continue along the path you have now (Pick up ammo, you'll need it!) Keep going until you arrive at the elevator and go down. You'll now in the center of the mine. Before you do anything, search the caverns for weapons and ammo and an EXTRA LIFE. Now go back to the center and search around the structure for the sequence charge lock. Plug it in and stand back! The wall will open to reveal a Pre-Dark Trooper! Don't let this guy get close, he can slice you easily! Keep shooting and running backwards, keep your eye on him! Use power cell weapons and thermal detonators! After he's destroyed, Kyle will contact Jan and tell her he's on his way out. Now that the problem has been destroyed, search for a newly opened door near where you first arrive. Use the elevator inside to arrive back up at the upper levels of the complex. A new door is opened here, with a switch on it's side. Go in and pull the switch, but don't go anywhere. Once you move away, Kyle will release the switch. Just hold the switch for about a minute as a series of doors open in front of you. Fire your weapon into the tunnels to take care of any Stormtroopers. When you feel all the doors have been opened, RUN! Just run as fast as you can through the tunnel before all the doors close! After you've past the last door, you'll be back outside. Hop down from the ledge and search for a tunnel. Hurry through it and drop down another narrow ledge (Hard to see). Once down, go through all those area until you find a dirt ledge low enough for you to hop on. Keep running across the path until you see your ship flying overhead. Hurry back to the landing pad and get on your ship before the place explodes!

Mission 6: Imperial Detention Center; Orinackra: "Crix Madine's Fate"

Weapons: I.M. Mines; Packered Mortar Gun

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Probe Droids; Interrogation Droids; Remotes; Grans; Dianogas; Mines; Force Fields*; Pistons*; Gravity*

Your rebel spy, Crix Madine has finally been caught and incarcirated inside the Imperial Detention Center. Your goal: Find him. Upon starting out, you'll be in an undetected area. Go through the passages and follow the route laid out before you. Keep going until you're at the cliff. Turn right and keep going right until you're at a room resembling a docking station. Pull the switch on the wall and wait for the platform to arrive. Hop on and wait as it takes you across the abyss. You'll stop at two huge doors unopened. Turn to you left and there's a small room with two Stormtroopers. Kill him and shoot the button behind them to open the doors. Go in and you'll see a large platform alongside a wall. Stand on it and look up for more buttons. Shoot one and the platform will rise. Go to the passage on the right and follow through the tunnel until you come to another switch on the wall. Open it and it will allow you access to another button elsewhere. Hop down the opening in the wall here and follow the route to the left, through a door, and into an open area. Press the button on the wall for an elevator to lower. Go on and press the other button to make it rise. You'll be brough to the upper levels of the Detention Center. Go into the elevator down all the way to the bottom floor. Go out and head around until you come at a force field. Keep shooting at it until a shot goes through, then run through before the force field goes on again! Keep going through the hallways (only one direction to go, until you arrive at a closed door. Look through the window and shoot the button you see to open both doors. Go in and out the other door and continue along the path until you see a huge door on the wall with an Imperial symbol on it. You'll enter a gaseous chamber, with a force field. It's required to run through as fast as you can and get through the force field in time. Pick up the red key on the other side, then exit out the way you came (Sorry.) When out, keep going the direction you were headed, until you arrive at another elevator. Don't go in, but activate it from the outside to go up a level. Now go back to the other elevator and head all the way up the top level again. Leave the elevator and turn on a control to make it go down a level. Now turn right and enter the locked door next to the elevator. Go into the dark passage, hop down a small pit, and duck. Crawl into a small passage, open the door, and hop down on top of the elevator. Open the door here and hop down again on top of the other elevator. Open the other door and go into the ventilation shaft. Follow the pathway through until you arrive at the sewer area. The next part is very difficult for amateurs. Hop on top of the pumping piston nearest you and move to the end of it. Turn towards the other piston, and jump for it AFTER the huge ceiling piston has gone up. On tope of this other piston, go around to the other side and jump across to a third piston AFTER the ceiling piston has gone up again. GO across the to the other side and when you get the chance, leap towards the door, open it, and go through. Go through the dark hallway until you hear a beep. Back off quickly before a mine gets you and opens a hole in the wall. Go through and you're the right detention area. Go through the cell area until you arrive at a huge door which can be opened. Go in and shoot all the Cadets, then confiscate all their key codes. Go back to the cell area and look for the panel lock. Use Key Code #2 on the panels and a cell will open. Go in and you've found Crix Madine!

Mission 7: Ramsees Hed Docking Port; Cal-Seti: "The Deadly Cargo"

Weapons: Nothing new.

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Grans; Gammorean Guards; Power Generating Units; Mines

Your Mission here is to attach a tracking device to the back of the smuggler ship inside the docking bay. The problem: It's past heavy security. When you start out, you'll want to head forward, and turn left at the second turn. Follow the route inside the building and stand on the huge platform (In the room with those weird spinning things on the wall.) It will lower you down into the structure. Here, watch out for Death From Above (Grans with Thermal Detonators on high ledges.) Pull the switch on the pillar nearest you and go through the gate that has opened. Go though the door on the left, which is camouflaged with the background. Go in, turn right, head down the platform, and into the narrow hallways. Search for a switch, pull it, then search around for another hallway that has opened. Go in and search for another switch, then backtrack back to find another opened hallway. Go in, search for another switch and pull it (Last one, I promise!). Now go into the elevator that has appeared behind you and go up into the upper levels. Follow along this simple narrow route, through a dark passage, and out into light again. Hop off the high plateau you're on and go into the tunnel room, do a U-turn, and you'll appear in a room similar to the one you came in from. Go onto the elevator platform at the base of the far wall and go up onto another plateau. From here, leap onto that platform below you were incapable of reaching below. It'll turn out to be an elevator and will lift you higher into the structure (Running low on oxygen yet?) Open a door you appear and head out into the white hallway. Turn left, keep going, and enter the first door on the right. Go through the hallway, down an elevator, and into a room with a gap in the middle. Hop into the gap and find the red key. Hop onto the platform in the middle of the gap and shoot the button across the room to raise you back up. Head back through the halls, until you rearrive at the main hallway. Turn right and keep going towards the grey door. Open it and go into it, up an elevator, and continue going through, through another door and you'll arrive before a low ceiling over a pit. Go around the pit and down into an alcove. Turn right and go into a room with a blue key in it. Take it and go all the way back to the main hallway. From there go all the way to the completely opposite end of the hallway. Turn right and enter the cargo bay of the structure. Go through the wide maze of crates easily, and when you come to that huge door, look to your left and and use that console with the two arrows to open it. Keep going through, through another door, and you'll arrive behind the ship. Go into a small narrow passageway and plug in the tracking device to the small console in the back.

Mission 8: Robotics Construction Facility; Anteevy; Ice Station Beta

Weapons: Nothing new

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; One Dark Trooper; Pro-Dark Troopers; Turrets; Pistons*; Toxic Waste*; Toxic Air*; Gravity*

You have a few mission goals on this icy planet. 1) Infiltrate the Facility 2)Plug in the first sequence charge, 3)Plug in the second sequence charge; 4)Plug in the third sequence charge; 5)Get back to the ship! You'll start out on an icy planet. A special tip here: Smooth ground means ice, and ice means sliding! At any cost, stay on snow, or try to find ice cleats! Now here, turn right and head down the stairs. Hop into the river and go with the flow. Turn right at the first chance and hop up onto the ground. Stay on the right, in this wide road for you to follow. Go up a narrow stairway and onto some bad ice. There some hidden ice cleats here, just off the edge of the huge cliff here. Find a way down to them. You will need them. Now go to the left side of the cliff, and make a running leap across! Go along the route, over the snow a lot, and you'll arrive at the river again. Hop up into the gap in the wall next to the river and go through the icy tunnel, and into the ice flow. When the river exits the tunnel, hop up to the left onto the platform with the key on it. Hop down the waterfall. And turn left. Keep going untily ou arrive before the robotics facility's main gate. Go up the doros and open the door. Hop onto the conveyor belt and get carried through the procedure. Be on the watch out for Imperial Troops supervising the belt from windows. Eventually, you'll see a closed door ahead. Through the window on the right is a button on the wall! Shoot it! Hurry through the open door as quickly as possible and you'll be inside the facility. Walk along side the belt, through the hallway, and you'll find yourself eventually, next to a door on the belt, with a large piston overhead. Hop onto the belt and push yourself into the door, opening it and hurrying through before the piston comes down. Hop off the belt to the platform below. You'll be surrounded by toxic waste. From the platform, leap over the waste to the ledge ahead of you. From there leap to another ledge opposite you. There will be three door opening and closing quickly. Hop onto the first when you get the chance, then to the second, then over the third, onto the conveyor belt. You'll be taken through a series of stuff, nothing dangerous except a psiton going up and down which you should avoid. When you see some guys shooting at you from ahead, shoto them, then leap off the belt into a room across a poll of waste. Turn on the switch and jump back to the belt. Go through the door, then from the conveyer belt you're on, leap across the pit to the other one, and keep moving as the belt is headed towards the pit too. What you really need to do is leap from the belt you're, to the window left of the belt where some guys are shooting at you. Make the jump, and turn on the switch in the room. Turn right, and open the door to find an extra life and a key. Turn to the other door, go through, then enter another door, then go through another. In this switch use the controls to open a wall outside. Go outside the room and leap into the wall. You'll be in another ventilation shaft. Go left and find the two controls switches to shut off the blades and open a hole in the walls. Leap down the blade shaft into the waste pool area. Here, you'll be exposed to toxic gases unless you find or already have a gas mask. Here, find the three outlets, and plug in each sequencer charge. After the third one is in, the wall will open behind you to reveal a fully completely armed Dark Trooper! No more stupid blades; this guy has missiles, plasma cartridges, and a jetpack! Use everything possible, just kill the fool! After he's been destroyed, find an open door and reenter the ventilation shaft's exit. After going through a second door, you'll find yourself in an elaborate maze with a few Pro-Dark Troopers in it (depends on the difficulty level; there's only one to deal with on EASY) There are two ways of completing this: 1)Find all the Troopers and kill them, or 2) Make it a hectic race to the exit. You'll know you're at the exit when you arrive in a lighted hallway (There may or may not be Pro-Dark Troopers here.) Turn right, go forward, and turn right again. Use the console to open the door, and you'll see daylight again; unfortunately, it's over that abyss you leapt across earlier. Do it again and leap to an ice ledge (This next part is extremely difficult without cleats), then leap from ledge to ledge, up to the top of the abyss. From here, backtrack your steps back to the high cliff where your ship will come and get you off that planet before the bombs explode!

Mission 9: Nar Shaddaa; The Vertical City: "The Death Mark"

Weapons: Stouker Concussion Rifle

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Grans; Gammorean Guards; Trandoshans; Mines; Force Fields*; Gravity*

All right, Kyle, listen up, the Empire's after you and has every bounty hunter in the galaxy breathing down your neck; and what's worse: In this level you need to find Imperial Navigational evidence in the bounty hunter capital itself: Nar Shaddaa! So you'll start out on a platform. Walk over to the other platform and hop off as it's moves (Should you get caught betweeen it and the wall, shoot the nearest available button). Off the moving platform, search for a console that will open a door in the wall. Crouch down to fit through, and grab the key inside. Use the elevator to get out, and at the top, turn right, hop down, and open the door. Here, go until you can see space, and a long bridge. Using the Mortar Gun, shoot the Grans off that far-off bridge, or they'll cause problems later. Head off to a lower floor, through a door, up some stairs, around and around, up and elevator or two; it all pretty much leads the same direction. When you arrive at place near an overhead bridge, and two doors which can only be accessed by a higher platform, go throught he other door here instead. Go through one room, through a door, up an elevator, and when you arrive at the bridge, leap off onto that higher platform you were unable to reach before. Go through the first door and you'll come to six force fields, in pairs. You must decide which is the inoperative one, using the gun, go through and continue until you made your way through the fields. Go into the room beyond the fields and collect everything there. then backtrack through the fields, through the door, and go into the other door. You'll be brought into a battle field chalk-loaded with bounty hunters (Concussion rifles suggested for combat) Locate the area with the two platforms and Grans on both sides, and jump onto the lower platform (It's closer to the back wall.) Go through the passage in the back, through a couple narrowly hidden passages, until you're in a quite dark room with one or two Gammorean guards in it. You need the blue key in the back. Take it and backtrack to the platforms. From there, leave that area, and go left, towards the door in the wall. Open it and you'll arrive on a plateau. Go throguh the other door and follow a long trail of elevators, doors, and other various obstacles, easy to overcome (Although when you come to the narrow bridge, let's hope you blasted those Grans off earlier!). When you come to a split up of trails, go right and follow the trail some more...(There's barely any puzzles at this part) Keep going until you locate a bunch of Imperial Troops in a room. Kill 'em all and grab the Imperial Nava Card in the back!

Mission 10: Jabba the Hutt's Ship: "Jabba's Revenge"

Weapons: None new.

Enemies: Kell Dragons; Grans; Gammorean Guards; Trandoshans; Dianogas; Mines

As Kyle and Jan make their escape from Nar Shaddaa, their ship is beamed in by a passing ship belonging to that vile gangster: Jabba the Hutt! Having caught Kyle, Jabba is only to happy to gloat, and being a sport, Jabba orders Kyle to be brought into a one on one match with a Kell Dragon without weapons! In this level you need to 1) Find all your gear, 2) Find the Nava Card again; 3) Rescue Jan and get out of there! We rejoin Kyle as he's fallen into the Kell Dragon pit, with only his fists to protect him (In advanced levels, there may be more than one dragon!) To fight the Kell Dragon, you must sock it in the face every chance you get and back off before it gets chance to bite you! Continuously maneuver around it, hitting it, until it has fallen unconscious and another door opens. Leave into the dragon tamer's den (In advanced levels, there are several other dragons to fight in here too, and MUST be all defeated!) Take out the Gran(s) in here and retrieve their weaponry for self-defense should you need it. Find a lever inside the inner structure and use it to raise a wall platform outside the structure. Hop up onto it and go around the top, leap over to a ledge and grab the key and mines laying there. Use the key to open a door leading out into the rest of the ship. Use any weaponry to fight off the guards and when you come to the pit with a Gran or two throwing grenades at you, throw what yo have back at them and jump across onto the ledge. Go alongside it into another room, pull the lever, and leave through the elevator. A door will now be open with a Gammorean guard and mine behind it. Avoid both of these and go into the center room. Look up! It's your gear! Jump up and grab it! NOW IT'S TIME TO ROCK AND ROLL! Pull the lever in the next room to raise the floor that made up the pit before. Cross over through the doro and you'll end up in a mine field. Set off the mines one by one (or two by two) by tossing thermal detonators around, until all the mines are out. Cross over into the dakr room and pull the lever on the wall to lower the stairs outside the room. Go up and around, until you arrive an area filled with bad guys, and a strange black narrow platform is in the center of the room. Cross over to the other side, into the small entrance in the wall, go up an elevator, and use the lever here to raise the platform. Hurry across before it goes down, go through the room, through another narrow entrance into another large room (with kell dragons in it on advanced levels) Go into the room in the back, up an elevator and up to a higher room. From here, you need to leap across a huge gap over the room you entered and go through into the next room. Search for a hole to drop into, into the septic tank. Shoot the creatures you see, and grab the key on the ledge. Use the control on the wall to lower an elevator, hop on, and get lifted out of there. Use the key to open yet another door you'll encounter... The next place you should encoutner is a series of rooms and enemies swarming everywhere, and somewhere in this maze of rooms, is that Nava card you had stolen from Nar Shaddaa. When you enter, stick to the left and enter the grey door. Inside this room, you should find the Nava Card. Go out and search for a large door that has appeared (The door has a wing pattern on it). Now there is basically a few paths around here, and it's somewhat of a maze, but it all leads to a same place. You arrive at a pit and below, you'll hear a couple guards inside. Drop down, kill the fools, and head into the dark corridor with (a) Kell Dragon(s) in it. Kill anything here, hop up some platforms to a door, go through the edge of a large pit, and throw the lever on the wall to raise the flooring below...hey! That's the arena you started in. Anyway, cross over it, hop up a step, and go the left searching for stairs leading down. Follow the trail until you arrive a dungeon (On top of a ledge overlooking several cells with guards in the pit. Should you fall into the pit, go around to the right side and pullt he lever to raise the floor, then get off before it lowers again. You need to go from the ledge you start out on, around the pit, and make a running leap across the hole leading to the pit, and drop into another hole, leading to a lower cell area. Leap across the the pit here and open the cell door, second to the left. Blast the guard and go in and rescue Jan! Well, your ship is outside, might as well blow this popsicle stand!

Mission 11: Imperial City; Coruscant: "The Imperial Mask"

Weapons: The Assault Cannon!

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Probe Droids; Interrogation Droids; Dark Troopers; Pro-Dark Troopers; Turrets; Gravity*; and Boba Fett!

Your mission goals: 1) Crack the central lock within the city, 2) Recover some data tapes, 3)Haul your mercenary hide back to the ship! You'll start out in a small area, undetected. Leave this arena area and go into the upper ledges straight ahead (The place with the bars.) Keep right, follow along the ledge, until you arrive at an elevator. Go down and leave out into an open season field, where troops are everywhere! Run to the opposite end and enter an elevator in the wall through the right side. You be taken higher into the city, and another elevator will lift you even higher! You arrive at the roof, with spotlights scanning the grounds carefully you need the key on the other end of the field! Carefully hurry through and dodge the lights and grab the key. Now you need to get to the door. You'll notice the only door here is across the abyss, so make a running leap across the abyss and get in the door quickly if you set off the alarm in doing so. Go in and hop onto the platform going down. You'll stop every moment to allow a Stormtrooper to come in after you. Take care of him and keep going until the elevator reaches bottom. Head towards the door on the other side of the narrow passage, and open it to reveal an entire army of Imperial Troops coming after you! Nothing a few mines and a Mortar gun can't clear! Get through the door and you'll arrive inside another structure, with Imperial Troops everywhere! Clear out the place and find the elevator (Through a door). Go up and you'll arrive before two doors. Take the one on the left. Use the controls on the left side of the room to open a grate, then crouch and pull the switch on the right side of the room twice to move a sliding platform closer to the grate. Hop on the platform and leap into the ventilation duct. Keep going until you arrive at a console. Use it to open the exit and hop out! Go around this room until you locate the Assault Cannon! Save the ammo though (don't use any here!) Open the wide doros here using the console and go through the door on the other side up another elevator. Go straight through the tunnel and into another elevator which will take you outside. Search for the only door that can open. Inside, a Dark Trooper will be released! Use all your power possible to blast this guy apart! Afterwards, use the console behind where the Dark Trooper arrived to open another wall. Go intot he door behind the wall outside and down another elevator into the central 3-ring security area. You must get to the center; follow closely! The consoles next to each door can only open one door at a time, when the marker is at the top, the door next to you will open, when at second, a door that is directly behind the wall in the second ring will open. When the third marker is on, the door on the third level will open. Keep in mind that only one door in each row can ve opened at a time. First, go around the outer ring opening all the doors allowing you passage around the entire outer ring. Now go to the first console you used, and set it at the third. Backtrack through the ring and repeat process with two more consoles. Now backtrack to the next two consoles and set them to the second marker. Go through the hole in the wall here to the middle ring and go through the open doors untily ou arrive at another open wall that will lead into the inner ring. Go through the doors until you arrive at the central lock. Go around and turn on all three consoles to activate the floor and allow you to crack into the central lock (There! First mission goal completed! Two more!) Now walk around into the room you've been brought to and turn on the two consoles on the other side. A panel will open. Insert. Insert the Nava card into the controls and wait while Kyle and Jan talk. After the chat, another panel will open to reveal the data tapes! Grab them! As you head out the door, Jan will start panicking on the comm, then suddenly, you'll lose reception with her just as she's trying to warn you about something.Head out and up an elevator to arrive back outside at a familiar place. Once you remember where you are, backtrack your steps all the way back to the landing pad where you began. As you arrive at the landing pad, you'll notice two thing; 1)Your ship seems to have left without you, and 2)The dreaded bounty hunter Boba Fett is launching missiles at you! This is where the Assault Cannon comes in handy! Use it to fire plasma cartidges and missiles at Boba Fett each time you get a cleat shot at him! Be careful, he has a jetpack and moves rather quickly! It's best to just blast him into oblivion the second you see him, or you can run around the ledges, dodging the guy by hiding through pillars and everything. After you've successfully managed to knock him to the ground unconscious, Jan will contact you to let you know she's made it back to the landing pad. Head on back there and get off this planet.

Mission 12: Imperial Fuel Station; Ergo: "Smuggler's Hijack"

Weapons: You should have them all.

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Grans; Gammorean Guards; Trandoshans; Power Generating Units

You'll start out at the docking bay. In this level you must make your way onto the Executor; and hijack it (launch it). Starting out, head through the doors here, activate a few consoles, go down an elevator, down a series of stairs, and open a huge door. Turn right and going in that direction until there is a large opening in the wall leading to the cafeteria. Blast everyone in there (Don't worry, no one's innocent!) Find the Cadet with the key and leave the cafeteria. Turn left and continue going the direction you were before until you arrive before two huge doors. Go towards them to open them, and use your Concussion Rifle to set off all the Power Generating Units inside (Stand back!!!) Head up the stairs and turn on the console in front of the large opening to activate a bridge turning towards it. Use the elevator behind to go down to the floor level, and kill everyone down there to make it easier. Locate the control down here and stand by it until the bridge stopped moving. Now quickly turn on the console and race back to the elevator, up the shaft, and around, and make a running leap onto the bridge as it moves away. Stick around here and wait for it to stop at another opening (For an extra-life: Set off a chain reaction of generators in the quarters that the bridge stopped at, and behind it all is an extra-life.) Anyway, turn on the console and run back onto the bridge as it starts to move again. Wait until it has gone a long way and docks at another port. Turn on the console here and get on the bridge yet again. When it docks at another port, go off into the structure it docked at. Go around the center and through the hallway, up an elevator, through another hallway, up some stairs, around a long two-way corridor until you arrive at the window area. Blast everyone here and turn on the controls on the wall to move the docking cube around to the Executor. From here, go all the way back to the place you were before (WHen you exit that elevator, turn it on from the outside before you leave!), at the two main gates that open automatically. Turn right and keep going until you arrive at another sliding door. Open it, go up the stairs, into the elevator, through the docking cube and into the Executor! Here, search for the one Cadet, kill him,a nd take his key. Search for a door to unlock and go into. The smuggler ship is secure. Go to the console on the wall and activate it to launch the ship...

Mission 13: The Executor: "The Stowaway"

Weapons: None new.

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Probe Droids; Interrogation Droids; Dark Troopers; Mines

For this, you need to 1) Get into the Cargo bay, 2) Start up the cargo sequence, and 3)Stow away in the cargo hold. This level basically runs in one direction except for a few parts. When starting, toss a detonator at the door to activate the mine that has been planted for you. After leaving, go to the right, up to the elevator leading down. When dealing with the operative doors, use the controls nearby to lift or raise them out of your way. Follow a long route to a large area where a door is situated above. Use a control to open the door, and step on the elevator to be lifted up to it. Once again, go through doors, places, dum-de-dum...(by the way, people are trying to kill you.) The other major obstacle you'll encounter are the pillars. You'll find yourself surrounded by pillars, and a door above at the far end. You need to find the elevator to tkae you up to pilalr height, and leap to the nearest pillar. Jump from pillar to pillar until you reached the door and get through. The next obstacle is right through the next two doors: The Dark Troopers. As you enter, have your Assault Cannon ready, and blast away as the door rises to reveal a Dark Trooper! Strafe to avoid his cannon fire and keep firing until he falls. Go on to the next room to fight two more of them, though you have to run around a bit for these guys. After they've been wiped out, go through the door into the cargo bay. Press the control near the window to transport the cargo hold through the bay. Go to the next room, and press one control to turn it, and another to move it into docking position. Go around and into a couple of doors, and drop into the hold.

Mission 14: The Arc Hammer: "The Dark Awakening"

Weapons: Let's hope you have them!

Enemies: Standard Imperial Troops; Interrogation Droids; Turrets; Dark Troopers; Pro-Dark Troopers; The Big Kahuna Trooper; QS100 Welding Arms; Power Generating Units; Pistons*; Gravity*

For the final level her you need to plant all three sequencer charges into individual outlets and steal an Imperial Shuttle to escape. You'll start out int he cargo hold. Activate your Concussion rifle and throw open the door. Quickly back off and blast all the troopers in one shot. Now switch back to your other weapon. Get out, go around the edges, and head down an elevator. Turn left at the intersection and fight the welding arm. Strafe away from the arm should it get close and keep firing at the base of it. Do not fall off the edge! Go around the edge, into another room and turn on the lever. Leave, go over the ledge, back up the elevator, and onto a ledge that has mysteriously appeared now. Go along the edge and through the door. Go up the stairs, through a couple rooms, and onto the high ledges. Here you'll a Dark Trooper or two to fight. On advanced levels, you'll have to deal with a flying Trooper, but on lower levels, all you need to fight is a single Pro-Dark Trooper. Tossing down thermal detonators and activating power generating units can be enough to knock apart the Dark Trooper. Hop down and go through the door to the wide ledge. WHATEVER YOU DO, TRY NOT TO GO OVER THE EDGE! If you go over the edge, you'll be pitted against several Dark Troopers in close quarters, and only the greatest player in history could get out alive without losing a life or two. Stay on the ledge, go right and turn on the control go back to where you entered and you'll see a door opened over the pit. Make a running leap over (Please don't miss!) and get into the door! You'll be on a one on one match against a Dark Trooper! If you're on EASY, go around the corner and grab the Super Shield, if not, just dodge a lot! After finishing off that tin can, go off until you arrived at a few pillars, and no apparent exit. Go up some stairs in the back, turn ona control to raise the stairs, and go up higher. Go into the dark space and make a running leap to the ledge on the other side. Go along the ledge, and when you arrive at the spot where you need to jump to another ledge, jump to the narrow ledge ont he pillar first, then jump to the other side. Go through some corridors until you arrive at a closed door. Turn around and crawl under the space under the wall. Go down into the engine and look at each piston. Behind one is a button. Shoot it and the wall will open. Go behind the wall and plug in sequencer charge 1. Exit out the way you came through an elevator. After you crawl back out again, another elevator will be open. Go in and turn it on to be taken down deeper into the Arc Hammer. Exit the elevator and go through a couple more corridors until you see pistons going up and down really fast. Get onto the one on the left when it's at it's lowest, go up, and jump off onto the outcropping. Leap across to the other side and walk along the tops of the moving pistons until you get clear across. Hop down the pit and go forward, left, and onto the elevator. Run along the platform you've arrived on, jump across to the one at the top and go stick a sequencer charge in the outlet. Should you be on advanced, you'll have to deal with Pro-Dark Trooper or two. Hide in the narrow spot in the wall next to the outlet to get a clear safe shot at the Dark Trooper. Jump to the other platform, go on the conveyor belt and you'll arrive back at where you started. Jump across the pit this time and go through the door. Go through and through until you arrive at the elevator. Use it to go down and arrive at a place loaded with Troopers and power generating units, Blast the units to clear out any Stormtroopers and go through the door. Follow along the ledge and hop onto the conveyor belt. Avoid any laser fire and duck when that big wall comes at you. After you hop off the belt, go on to the other. On this belt, shoot the button when you get the chance and hurry through the door before it closes on you. You'll arrive in the major conveyor belt area. When you first hop onto the belt make a right turn, jump over the ledges, make a left turn, jump over a couple more ledges, duck, go left, duck again, and stay ducked until the ride comes to a stop. Get off the belt and use the controls nearby to shut it off. Go back under the conveyor shaft and hop off the side. Keep going until you arrive in the dark. Locate the room with the five buttons. Each button controls a segment of wall. Notice the pattern on the large wall? You need to connect all the shapes. Use each button to move the walls until they are all connected and power can get through. Leave and go find the elevator. Go up and into another hallway. Normally, a Pro-Dark Trooper is right around the corner. Move forward to grab it's attention and back quickly, shooting at it the second you see it. Keep blasting away until it crashes down in a heap. Go into the room the trooper was in and search behind the pistons for a button. Shoot it and another wall will open. Insert the final sequencer charge and run for the elevator. Go down and you'll enter the final showdown warzone. Before going too far, make sure to clear out those Stormtroopers from where you stand (precision shooting required) They'll mess up your attack. now advanced levels will vary in the numbers of Dark Troopers, but at most, you'll have to take on four at a time. Quick dodging and an assault cannon are the key to beating this, and keep an eye on where your enemies are. Using the elevator as a quick escape is a good idea. So is luring some Dark Troopers into cross fire. Anyway, after all the Dark Troopers have been mutilated and laying in a pile, go to the wall that has opened and hop into the pit. Pull the switch on the wall and this will commence the final fighter as the Ultimate Dark Trooper comes out after you! Though he cannot fly, he is an incredibly high jumper, and dodging his plasma blasts is an excellent idea. The main problem is the ring of explosives he sends out. This is where an elevator is handy. Never turn your back on him too long, and always knwo of his location. Shoot him every chance you get! He'll finally collapse on the ground gasping. Go through the door that opens, into the shuttle bay. Blast the cadet here, hop into a shuttle, and zoom out before the Arc Hammer explodes!
